What does it mean when someone cares about someone else?

If you can't define it, can you describe it?

I care about my friends.
I think it means that I want to be cared about as well.

It makes you vulnerable.
If you mean “someone cares about someone else” as in a romantic way, my experience has led me to accept that I am second best.

I know what it feels like to care so deeply and there’s only room enough for one.

Depends on what kind of care.

Basically it just means they're capable of love. Ergo, they're capable of being saved.

@Casheyane I was really looking for your own thoughts.

I feed a guy at our safe park. He's got no car. Not a citizen, can't get food stamps. I do breakfast and lunch. Because got free eggs, will cook 3 per each of us.

I have empathy for his position, but I don't say "Be filled and warm, I DO something. Too many christians mouth the words with no effort.

@Expressman but do you care about him or a random person or the individual? How far would you go for him. You've shown me that you are a kind, caring person, but I want to know what caring for another individual being means....
There are different types of caring, of course. There are people I care about in that I wish them well. And if it’s within my power make things easier without it costing me more than I can afford (financially, emotionally, etc.) I am willing to help.
I guess there are boundaries we decide to adhere to when it comes to “caring”
@Surprisesplease That’s why there are different types, with different boundaries, yes.
