During my trip i am constantly called to size my trust

Am I trusting this, him, her, that price, that place, that street, this situation, this food, this suggestion, and about more or less everything i am called to balance my logic and intuition. People are fast to call me "friend" but I don't want to be suspicious either but you know i am naturally so trusting and I maybe need to be more cautious? Or i keep it up and get by by continuing to trust...

On a trip to a poorer country when I was younger I found a lot of people calling me "friend" very quickly. Usually they wanted to sell me drugs, or, more subtly, to get to know me so I could somehow help them move to the richer country I live in. One does have to be careful.

@SW-User in other news, people from rich countries visit poorer countries Just to convert the poor people their religion..

@Flyinghigh oh and for other awful reasons too, like sex tourism.
I am not blaming the people from the poorer countries for wanting to benefit from visitors. But if one is the visitor, one has to be prudent.

Trust sets the condition of a relationship.
it doesn’t measure your ability to trust just for that one person that you might not know as well as you think. Personal Boundaries are good!

Opening yourself to explore things and yourself, without risking your safety is ok.
