I Have Trust Issues

Why trust people, especially in person, when they never stick around...or look for ways to make you feel humiliated and alone.

I often wonder this and all I can come up with is that we are merely a means to an end and they use us to gain their own personal strength .. I've yet to find a person in this life that loves me for me and not just a benefit for the time they need me
