@jshm2 But the term "troll" implies that this person is holding their disagreement simply to annoy people. And it seems in the wake of this "troll" label, people have lost the cognition that people can genuinely disagree with them and hold that disagreement if they feel counterarguments haven't won them over. It's just straight to "troll", which also seems to inherently imply to them that they can then treat said person as less of a human.
