is it ok to be patriotic

i'm patriotic toward the uk, but i am not right or far right, just want democracy to be upheld and the traditional values britain has to remain in tact. does this make sense?

It does make sense. I'm American and am well aware of why the world hates us, but this IS my home and my brother defended this country so in his honor, I will always be patriotic.

@SW-User I'm going off of the posts/comments I see here. I have friends all over the world but there is alot of hate for my country here.

@Tumbleweed] yeah this place is not a fair representation of the real world. In fact it's q culture shock to get back on here after traveling you can tell who is shut off and who has world experience outside of their job, home, and errands. Italy is the only place I've experienced with a general negative attitude towards America but they're supremacist most of the time anyway.
