I’ve never seen that show. I didn’t really see it as shaming so much as cowardice. LOL They didn’t make them look very bright, but even within different regions of the US, there are foods I’d be hesitant to dive into. I’m not super adventurous with food. We do have a chef here in Minnesota named andrew zimmern who has several shows about foods from different countries and he has a very adventuresome spirit. I like his shows.

@JustNik I've never tried those food in the show too. They are not representative of the food here at all. It looks like a deliberate misrepresentation of Asian food on our soil to an American audience who does not know anything about Singapore (some still think Singapore is part of China ). TBH, we don't have shows on national TV that mock American food or culture. I've not seen any.

@novembermoon Maybe they hope their people want something more interesting to watch! LOL We have a lot of shallow programs here because someone will always watch them. I don’t mind a show that’s not serious, but I don’t find it entertaining to sit and wonder if they know how brainless they sound. 🤷♀️ Do you have a favorite show?
