I Hate Stereotypes

The black people at my job are mean to me because I don't know anything about 'black culture' and I'm Black. They said I'm racist :/

They are the ones who think that there is a whole different culture that only black people are part and that a person's skin color dictates being part of it but they think that you are the one who is racist 🤡

Black culture? Do they mean only those in their area or everything African?

I am African and we kind of come in all shades of skin. The culture is so diverse. It is impossible for people to know and understand all African cultures with their various traditions, civilizations, tribes, languages..etc.

@Aidan That still doesn't make sense. Culture and race aren't synonymous. You can be of the same color and have different beliefs and practices. Trying to impose otherwise is racism.
