Do you ever get PM’d by people who have nothing to say?

I don’t want to discourage people, but strangers I have no connection with will be like -Hi, what are you doing? - what are you doing now? - what about now?

I find small talk on social media so very awkward.

Lol....not really these days, but in the past, yes.
The ones that bothered me most were the ones who say stuff like.. ' hi, i really like yr post, i thinknyou are very interesting and ud like to talk to you' so id reply asking which post and they'd say, ' i can talk about anything....what do you want to know? Ask me anything!! '

Uummmm.....you messaged me? I dont have anything to ask you......🙄🤦‍♀️🤷‍♀️
