My father used to say “do as I say, not as I do.” Always thought that was a cop-out somewhere on par with “because I said so.” But it seems nearly universal that people find it easier to give good advice than to heed it themselves, so there could be a few golden nuggets in there afterall. 😄👍
@JustNik My dad was a patient man, answering all of my inane questions as a young a child. But even he had his limits, as I was an inquisitive young lad. Ultimately he would reply in a robotic voice “Me don’t know…don’t bug me.”
And I would mimick his answer.
“Me don’t know…don’t bug me.”
