Did you know (some) narcissists adamantly think they are empaths/empathic and call themselves that? Lol. I think it's more the covert narcissist. Those can be hyper sensitive and perceptive. But of course there are underlying reasons. I guess it's part of the "image management" they do.

I’ve lost people I’ve loved deeply to narcissism it’s no joke
But then with some I don’t think I ever had them in my life to begin with
For others they have used my love against me … still do and in moments when they are lovey dovey i have fallen for their charm and believed in giving them the benefit of the doubt only to be let down again
So the cycle continued until I educated myself on it as much as I did
Something shifted and they knew that I stood for the truth and that the truth ultimately prevails so they left me alone
It felt like a time when waking up was my protective shield and I knew that no matter how much my freedom angered them that I would be fine on my own
That’s what holds the key to precious freedom … it’s knowing I was going to be okay on my own … mentally, physically and spiritually
And I encourage anyone who’s reading this to know they can walk away and live freely … like a bird to pastures new where better people are and true happiness lives 🕊
Keep the faith … trust the process … everything falls into its rightful place eventually 🌹

Narcs are free to choose differently like working on themselves ☀ but they choose to be who they are and that’s not something I need to take accountability for.
