Red flags should terrify you, not pique your interest....

Nomenclature is an interesting thing.

I suspect these signals are ignored simply because the word "red" gives a mixed context.

Red flowers and red lipstick are beautiful, yet a red light or so called "Red flag" are warnings.

The USA flag has Red, white and blue. It represents pride for the country, yet a Red Chinese flag gives the warning context.

Now go party representation with Red Republicans or Blue for Democrats, that totally mixes the whole issue up once again.

So when it comes to actual "Red" situational flags, we become mixed up emotionally with the color red.

Is it good, a warning or something to have pride about?

You have to think of the situation. Not react to a dangerous situation in every case.

At least it's not called a White flag warning. Indicating giving up!

Perhaps we just shouldn't use any colors at all and just use what it is...

A subconscious warning.
