Can someone tell me how algorithms work? Do they target my IP Address, or do they target me personally when I'm online. I understand the targeting by my IP Address, but how do they know it's me when I'm on my work computer?

@calicuz You can use your web browser to clear all cookies. Cookies are browser specific, only those cookies which are stored within that browser will be deleted.
@calicuz Yes you can, but that's tedious – there will be hundreds of cookies. You can either tell your browser to clear them all in one fell swoop, or to present a cookie list so you can delete them individually.
