Do you think of me?

I thought about you today and wondered if you still think about me. I bet you don't. It was the red blanket that started it. I remember how much you loved it and the nights we spent snuggled up beneath it together. I chucked it on my bed coz it's freezing tonight and the dog thought it was great digging and rolling in it's fluffiness like it was bought just for him. I didn't have a dog back then. Do you even like dogs I can't remember? Even though you hurt me I never stopped caring about you, I saw that you got married and had a son and I'm genuinely happy that you made your dreams come true. I hope it's everything you wished it would be. Does your blue blanket make you think of me? Or did you throw it out, did you erase me from your life? I hope not. I hope you remember the love we shared and the memories we made together like I do because I've no regrets about them you will always be a huge part of my journey and I'll never forget what we shared. Maybe one day our paths will cross again as friends but I'll leave that upto you and fate. Maybe 1 day this red blanket will be shared with someone new, someone forever or maybe it will always just be a part of you ❤️
