I feel some people won't have someone permanently with them.
That's why people experience repeated break ups.. Sure some people have others to be with them constantly but isn't always the case.
The only person that will be with us till the end is ourselves.
No warranties about others

@SW-User I agree. It's nice sentiment, but reality is unfortunately more bleak. Not everyone gets the happy ending they want

@BeefySenpie I think if we were always realistic about that instead of portraying happiness as something so idealized we would save ourselves lots of heartache... Lots of pain. Lots of ways to be content really.

I understand what you’re saying about permanence. That is not realistic or always possible. We lose people in one way or another. It could be physical or emotional.
And that is not what the post is saying (at least not in the way I interpreted it based on my own personal views).
There is someone out there who can make you feel loved or that you belong. It may not be permanent. Or forever. Or you may not even get to share your lives for a long time.

@CookieCrumbs...." The right people were always going to stay"
Well it speak for itself.

You may love them, they may love you, but if they cannot or will not stay, then they are not the right one for you.
And this is what we have to be realistic about. If they leave, sure it would be sad, but we have to embrace what is. Let them go.
Someone else will come along.

@CookieCrumbs sometimes people drift away for life reasons things can't be, so it's not about right.. Or wrong..
Life has lots of shades, and while yes, some just aren't the right people for you other times other things get involved...
So yeah it's interesting

@CookieCrumbs ah not sure though about someone else coming along. Doesn't always happen. And it's ok.
