Have you ever had a rumor spread about you?

Yes...in high school a rumor started that I'd sexually harassed and tried to rape a girl. I swore up and down that I didn't touch or even speak to her. What had happened is that she had come up to me and said she thought I was very cute and can I be her boyfriend? I declined and that was that. But the worst part of the situation was that even my OWN parents who'd been notified that I was about to be expelled from school this alleged misconduct BARELY BELIEVED ME!! They kept saying that I had to be totally honest with them which I was being, how could I do something so stupid and f*CK up my entire future, and tell them if something happened b/c I could be arrested and they need to know what to tell the very expensive attorney that they're going to have to get for my dumbass!!! All of this b/c I told a needy girl that I didn't want to date her.
