I Believe People Come Into Your Life For a Reason

This post should be read and understood by all those people who write SW or other social media who whine, "I want to commit suicide" or some such statement that want "to end it all" or "life isn't worth living".

Neither me, or anyone else, has the right to make you stay on this earth if you don't want to. But please, stop and consider...seriously.

Writing social media posts threatening suicide doesn't get you anywhere. By the time it is discovered, you may have already "done the deed". And what if we do catch it before you do? Have you considered who you may hurt and leave behind? Parents, relatives, sisters, brothers, girl (or boy)friend(s)? They have to identify you and live on in a miasma of heartbreak with the unanswered question "why did he (she) do it?"

If you succeed in suicide and are found to be brought back to life, what damage may be done? There are several attempted deeds which were aborted in time,but the would-be victim may be going through his or her normal lifetime not quite normal, and they KNOW they used to be normal previously.

And, please consider this...suicide is more likely to fail than succeed. The studies bear this out.

Don't consider it. Talk to someone whose opinion you trust and respect. More than one person, if it will help.
