I Believe People Come Into Your Life For a Reason

There was one point in my life that made me consider this more than any other.

I used to frequent the yahoo! chat rooms when they were around and during my time there, I was particularly suicidal on one occasion. I had got what I needed to together to go ahead with a plan and on the day I was to go ahead with it I decided to take one last shot at finding help by going into the 'Depression Support' chat rooms. As I flicked through the rooms, one after another, without saying anything as I scrolled through losing hope, I was just about to shut it down and proceed with my plan when someone privately messaged me out of the blue. The only reason they messaged me was because I'd jumped into one of the rooms then immediately left.

It turns out that this person was in as bad a place as I was, dealing with her own problems, and when I went to look at her profile I saw that her initials spelt my first name. We ended up getting pretty close and it was enough for me to tell my parents what I had been planning and they immediately got rid of what I had to end my life with. It stopped me from thinking about it any further.
