Yes, of course. But scientists agree that the population is only going to increase, which is a serious issue. You should visit China where a town of 1 million is considered a small village. Or India. The US currently does not have an issue with overpopulation. However, the world as a whole most certainly does.

The media tells you scientists agree, but they actually don't. Just like Global Warming/Climate Change. That 97% of scientists agree that the Earth is warming due to human activity is BS.

Do you think those studies get publicized? No, they do not because the findings don't fit those organization's world view or the political view of the media.

I have no idea where you are getting your "facts" but they so aren't true. I actually go and read the damn studies. I don't have to rely on them being translated to idiot. The last time I checked, there isn't a single scientific community or university in the WORLD that doesn't believe humans are accelerating global warming. Not one.

Laifu, I joined a scientific organization that does not believe in anthropogenic global warming. I was able to join because I have a BA in Biology. In order to join you needed at least a bachelor's in a hard science. there are thousands of members with BA's, MA's and PhD's in basic sciences, physics, chemistry, biology, etc., and not things like political science, sociology or some other BS.

Exactly. You don't have a BS. What exactly is a BA in biology? Did you also go to a Christian college that teaches creationism? I went to Johns Hopkins University. You know, one of those weird sciency places. I also read the actual scientific studies. I don't rely on idiots to translate then into something completely inaccurate.

I went to Boston University. So I took multiple semesters in Inorganic and Organic Chemistry, Physics as well as many Biology courses, i.e., physiology, comparative vertebrate anatomy, genetics, histology, biochemistry, etc. I took electives in paleoanthropolgy, astronomy and other sciences for fun. While it is true in some schools a BA many be different from a BS, when I was at BU, there was no difference. I can, and have, read the studies myself.

BU is also a very liberal university, often referred to as "the Berkeley of the East" so I was certainly exposed to the Left.

You are correct. I apologize for attacking you. And yes, BU is a good school. I can go a bit overboard at times, and I realize I was rude and condescending.
