I have never been very popular

I continue to struggle with feeling invisible. I am grateful for my best friend of course but I don’t hang out with others. It’s not that I don’t want to it just doesn’t happen. Yesterday I ate lunch at work all alone. It reminded me of my childhood days when I would wander the school campus all by myself. It can be a very lonely world sometimes.

I thought I didn’t have many friends when young but now I look back I think it wasn’t that bad. Then, again, they were only people that I knew. So idk what to think. Now I have a house full of grown children and grandchildren living in that house. I want alone time.
