Centrist here. Voted R at the Federal level my whole life until 2016. I like the conservative ideas of personal freedom, limited government, respect for the constitution, and fiscal responsibility. I also believe that our leaders should honor the offices they hold and be held to a moral standard.

It's very hard to reconcile the Iran War, masked anonymous secret police not caring about the fourth amendment, Trump wanting a coin minted with his face while he's in office, blantant disregard for court rulings, overuse of executive orders in place of actually passing laws, or really much that has gone on on either of his terms with anything resembling either conservative principals or personal ethics. And the party leader is one of the most named people in the Epstein files, clearly trying to cover that up, and being protected by others in his party.

It's not leftist shit. I just want the republican party that actually cared about the working class back. And for any and all child molesters to rot in jail.

@RosaMarie no comment except my party has had me tickled off for many more years then 2016 not standing up to the left and prosecuting the ones who deserve it. Hint hint Hillary Comey Obama

@Gibbon You'll have no arguement about Clinton. He and Don can share a jail cell.

What laws or ethics did Obama break? I tend to lump Obama and Bush Jr together. Both did things I didn't agree with and some that I did. But both were men of principle, that didn't profit from the office nearly as much as Clinton or Trump and weren't taking trips to a certain island.

@RosaMarie well said

@Gibbon Comey... you do understand you can't just put someone in jail, right? There are steps. One of those steps is seeking an inditement by presenting evidence at a grand jury. Common legal humor says that a grand jury will indite a ham sandwich. It's not considered a high legal bar. Comey was brought before a grand jury and that jury returned no inditement. Now either one of three things is true. Comey was such a master criminal that he created no evidence. Let's rule this out since what he did was quite public. OR Comey didn't actually do anything which rose to the level of a crime. OR the Trump justice department with all the power of the federal government, both houses, and a 6-3 court was still so incompetent that they couldn't present the evidence in a way to sway the Grand Jury.

@RosaMarie I hate Comey for getting away with giving her a pass when he wasn't in a legal position to do that. The damn Republicans knew that and didn't do squat about it. That's the kind of crap that has me so disappointed
