I Need to Rant

The number of people, especially females, that don't understand basic mechanical things is truly shocking.

I bought a better space heater in my room because my gf kept complaining that the other one didn't turn on enough, which was sometimes true even though the other one was a good $50 model.

So I upgraded to a better version of it with a digital display that specifically states that it turns the heater on low power every 3-5 minutes for 30-60 seconds to help maintain whatever temp you set it at.. now the room is at least 4-5 degree's warmer than it was before all the time and she's still saying the heater doesn't work and that it's cold in here.

I said ok, well I'll just go and put the old heater back on them since all you do is complain that the new one doesn't work. She was like "NO, don't do that". I said why, if it's not working then it shouldn't matter. So then she admits it IS warmer and better than the other one but that she's still cold. I said well when the other one got to 73 degree's you complained it was too hot, now this one keeps the room at 74+ and it's still too cold??

WTF. Never satisfied and no understanding of how things work. I finally said that it's YOU that is cold and nothing wrong with the house heat or the space heater so just get an extra blanket or put on another shirt.. wtf.
