Ah, yes, the exhausting feeling of end of the year

Professor writing how we can schedule a talk about a topic during office hours, mentioning it multiple times in the last few days, me finally responding "ok, I'd like to talk about it" and then getting a response "well, the semester is over maybe we can see what we can do about it" and I'm like ???? I know, that's why I thought you won't be working? Mind you, all of this happened in the past few days.
I hate all this politeness, just write how it is.
