How do you qualify to rent an apartment?
Say someone has $2,000+ saved to move out of state and gets a job there, can you still get an apartment or do you have to work there for awhile?

Normally you just need to show ID and proof of income. After that it is literally down to the owners preference. A reference from another landlord is beneficial as well.

You can get one but you just gotta make sure you have a job lined up or get one soon because that contract is a motherfucker if you can't keep paying your rent
