I enjoy a good, maybe philosophical, debate!

At university in Oslo I read modern history, and there were comparisons spread across from Europe to actively debate, in the lecture hall, or at least in assignments and treatises. Lifestyles in various places despite the economic dynamic are still reflective of cultural backgrounds, and this is a refreshing thing in the increasingly globalist world.

I agree that I don't desire an homogeneous culture or philosophy and it's great to maintain diversity. However, it's not so great when a culture restricts the rights and freedoms of women and reduces them to second-class citizens.
