Is social media designed to attract those who don’t have a conversation?

There are so few who actually read something through before they rush into a comment and try to spark a conversation without the right trajectory and then act surprised when they don’t inspire you to understand what they are saying. Perhaps SM is meant to get them talking in mistaken beliefs and anyone who actually reads and ponders things are lost because they use their powers of reason. Or is that just arrogant to think?
