The world has become more negative recently
I see it in myself and others. Wars, economic decline, disease, environmental disaster on the near horizon. Everything we know had changed in a matter of years, we are indeed living in crazy times, what we thought we knew we may not.
Transgenderism, division between all groups, an inability to agree on values on nearly every variable, families and births being less probable than they were, recreational contempt and vindication of opinion has become a common pass time for many.
The voices of disunity are loud, it almost feels sometimes as if there isn't a still place to stand.
It pushes me towards belief and religion, for something reliable and meaningful in a world that seems so fractured yet simultaneously ossified in it's discourse.
I'm not so much a believer in a particular thing but I'd like to be tbh. I feel as though many are and will be drawn towards meaning in these times, we've had it easy at least bring born in the 90s myself.
Either way, give peace and love to the people around you if you can muster it. None of us are moral paragons even to our own values but we need to try rn. We can't change the political landscape so much but we can have positive influence on those around us.
