I Think Manners Are Important

Why dont people have manners when eating out or visiting for dinner brunch or breakfast? We need to teach this to our children.
Cutlery etiquette:

I though I was fairly well-mannered but this is new to me. There seem to be more important aspects of etiquette.

@laotzu92 of course etiquette has many aspects- this is just cutlery manners there are many other manners - table manners like not resting your elbows in the table or putting your cellphone on the table or tasting wine first , is also general etiquette. I am not really talking about manners - more etiquette. Placing your knife and fork together also let the waiters know you are finished. I dont see it much here in America only at classy restaurants.

I've heard only about Pause and Finished and it was all I ever needed so far.

@hazelnutchocolate i dont know. I was taught this as 4 year old and so was most of my friends . I guess it is just a major pet peeve for me if someone does not put there knife and fork together when they finish a meal.
