What's the biggest mind fuck or plot twist you've given someone who was judging/harassing you?

I had a girl in my class who was crushing on me and bullying me at the same time (Real weird combo I know) and she could say very rude things just to make me feel bad. She also pushed me down the concrete stairs outside once completely unprovoked. I hadn't even said a word to her.

One day in class she said out loud [i]"You're such a fucking weirdo!"[/i]
And waited for my tears.
I responded: "[i]Aaawwwh thank you 🥰"[/i] and hugged her. She completely froze. She was in shock.

Everyone who saw it giggled at her.

She didn't try anything with me since.

My narcissist father was over for dinner. One of only a handful of times he's been invited in 15 years. My then 9ish yr old reached for a 3rd or 4th piece of garlic bread and my dad without fail started in with "smear it on your hips it'll get there faster" something I heard many MANY times as a girl. It took me years to get over my body issues.
Oh heeeeell no. Not my baby.
I [i]immediately[/i] stood up shoving my chair back so hard it almost fell over. Pointed right in my dad's face "DONT YOU [u]EVER[/u] SAY THAT TO HER AGAIN. UNDERSTAND? DO YOU UNDERSTAND!?"

The look of shock on his face was priceless. I never really stood up to my dad like that and it felt so good [aside from my seething mama bear rage] Usually ignoring / avoiding him is my safest approach so it was a huge therapy is working moment. I'm still proud of myself. Dad was never invited to dinner again.

I love when a person is unbullyable.

Back in 6th grade, a kid tried to blackmail me after I broke some rule (I forget what). I said I’d give him my allowance in a couple days if he didn’t say anything. Well, I didn’t get an allowance and I told him so when he showed up to collect the money. He got mad and ripped a book I’d been reading out of my hands and threw it. I picked it up, and he started screaming in my face. I pushed him. Because I was always a shy, quiet kid, he definitely wasn’t expecting that and wasn’t sure if I was able to really hurt him. But he clearly wasn’t willing to find out, and he didn’t bother me again after that.

Nicely done! High five! Acting crazy angry or crazy kind is the best methods to disempower a bully.

@Queendragonfly I agree that kindness is a good way to deal with bullies; especially since so many of them are likely going through something that they aren’t able to deal with a better way. Kids with abuse in the homes or if they’re unable to handle certain feelings, like how your bully couldn’t just say she liked you instead of targeting you.

One time I beat some dudes ass then the next time I saw him, he was really happy to see me 🤷 when I didn't recognize him he told me "you beat my ass! Made my eye bleed that one time" like he was all excited about it 😅

THEN I remembered him so we just talked for a minute like we were friends. Idk why he was so glad to see me lol
