some facts about you

So a lot of people here seem to judge others solely by their opinions here and act as if they know everything about you based on opinions you may have.
got me thinking, most of the time you only really see opinions from people on here and not so much people themselves giving a insight into them personally.
so care to share some facts about yourself here?

English is not my native language.

moved countries when i was 6 years old

I have 3 jobs. Security, merchandizing and brewing Mead.

I live in a small town

I have 2 brothers and one sister

My parents are still happily married

Grew up extremely poor

Cut off most of family

used to travel back home to Norway yearly but with the price increase of everything gone up. That is not really doable anytime soon, havent lived there since i was 6 yet still get homesick.

Sure, why not.

My grandad was Nahua from Durango, Mexico. My dad wasn't raised by him though, because he was an illegitimate child, the result of infidelity. My step grandad treated him like shit, despite my grandad himself cheating on his often. My mom's side is mostly Irish, with some Scottish.

My dad struggled to work up from packing boxes at a supermarket to eventually being area manager of a bank. He studied at night. Before he passed, he got his master's in political science.

He was sadly himself abusive and left my mum for another woman when she was still pregnant with me. He left us basically nothing. So we grew up dirt poor.

Despite having OCD and ADHD, I did alright in school. At a stage I considered studying law, but I couldn't live with the idea of potentially defending rapists and pedos. So I went into computers instead, having had a love of it since I was a kid and playing video games.

I'm now a front-end developer. I enjoy building stuff like interfaces, helping people with accessibility issues, designing, etc.

Hobbies wise, I've been playing guitar since I was 12. Kenny Hickey from Type O Negative inspired me to pickup the guitar. I play mostly metal, but I play other instruments and music like bass, vihuela and duduk. I have a passion for traditional music, especially Armenian and Mexican music.

I also brew beer, cider and mead. I love bowling, pool and darts. All the traditional pub games. I still play video games too. I've recently gotten back into weightlifting, with a focus on powerlifting.
