I have done the best I can with the information given to me. I have no family like mom dad uncle aunt grandma, grandpa or whatever. I continue to be treated like less than in the family I dreamed of..so I can Can only surmise. I am not needed and should be off! (:

@DeWayfarer I am trying so hard, but they make me feel like nothing I do will ever be good enough...i can't...at some point I should go away...what if me going away is better..

@Ladyred learned long ago that you can't change others minds.

Best you can do is to give examples and let them make their own decisions.

How they decide is up to them. Don't close down all contact channels, yet don't either hide yourself from them.

They will make their own decisions.

My own family know how to contact me if they so choose. I'm on ancestry just as they are, and they know it.
