Could someone please tell me how the right to bear arms is greater than the right to life !

I have no problem with the right to bear arms.. Lets just match it with the responsibility to keep them out of the hands of the wrong people. Make every weapons last owner of record legally liable for any crimes it is involved in..

@whowasthatmaskedman That's a good start, with exceptions for reported stolen guns. Think of it like a credit card. If you report it, you can limit your liability, otherwise, let a jury decide if you were negligent.

Agreed.. But a theft would need to be reported and a determination of whether the weapons were properly secured made.@MistyCee
