Could someone please tell me how the right to bear arms is greater than the right to life !

Guns don’t kill on there own only stupid mofos don’t understand that.. It’s behavior of the individuals. If it’s not a gun there is other ways to kill. To take away a citizens right isn’t going to make it any better.. back when I was in school there was a fight and a guy got stabbed.. Should we take away knifes to? Look how many students across the country get get injured or killed in automobile accidents should we take away cars? We really need to take a better look at what is happening with the behavior of these individuals rather then to start changing laws...

It’s a behavioral problem you take away guns they will find away to get them or find another way to kill..

Cars have a practical use and benefit in society whereas guns were designed purely to kill. Comparing cars to mass murder with firearms is about as desperate (and stupid) as it gets.

@fazer1k It’s a damn good argument look how many deaths happen... and you can say it’s a weapon of mass destruction look at theTerrorist attacks with cars, trucks, and airplanes.. a killer is a killer they will find another way..

@fazer1k I still remember 911, I still remember the federal building in Oklahoma City, you say it’s the guns that are the problem, but that’s not the answer, it’s the people... GUNS DON’T SHOOT THEM SELVES... It’s a behavior issue.. The part you don’t get a killer will only find another way..

@ItsRichard just jumping in here. Behavior and access to guns can both be problems. It's like letting your pyromaniac kid play with matches. Sure, we don't want to ban all matches, and we want kids to not play with lighters or rub sticks together even, but leaving the matches for them to play with is still not good.

@ItsRichard If crimes are already committed using planes and cars you really should take guns out of the mix to prevent adding to the death toll. Some people clearly are not taking responsibility for their guns and allowing others to get hold of them to use in crimes.

Gun Control makes the environment much safer. Statistics from other countries don't support what you say. You can make false claims all you like but the statistics show what really happens.

@fazer1k what other country from what I here, the crimes are just as bad, let’s make it easier for ISIS to take over.. I have never shot a civilian in my life, and never will.. I’m not giving up my guns I like to target shoot and also like the security of it. Everyone doesn’t like everything it’s to bad that we only disagree but what makes you think you have the right to say what and who can have what... That doesn’t make you a free country. That’s called a dictatorship and that’s not happening.

@ItsRichard Then you are happy to turn a blind eye to all the shootings so as you can keep your guns? That's hardly reasonable with regard to the victims or their families. America's strategy so far seems to be to do nothing and let the shootings continue - that's just barbarism.

@fazer1k it’s not barbarism I feel sorry for the victims and their family I have two daughters my self.. and friends with families and we treat each other like family... it’s the individual not the gun what don’t you understand? They will find another way to kill if they want to kill. You don’t have to disarm your whole country to stop crime, criminals will get guns one way or another... I’m thankful you don’t live in my country because you are to one sided... it’s been one of our independents for a long time and I agree with it...

@ItsRichard You have to start with the control somewhere. It takes time to get gun out of the hands of those who shouldn't have them but that's what armed police units are for. No solution is perfect but if nothing changes how are you going to stop the shootings?

@ItsRichard America clearly isn't a safer country for its own citizens. The statistics show Americans are 25 times more likely to be shot to death than the citizens of any other developed country.

You are placing a higher priority on the right to own guns than you are on the right to live.
