I Have a Problem With Irresponsible Pet Owners

Earlier today a cat that I really liked, that lived round the corner from me in my parents street, got killed by a big loose brindle bull mastiff type dog at lunch time.. I arrived just after it happened... The owner did nothing to stop it, the dog wasn't on a lead.. A man from British gas witnessed it and had to get the dog off that poor cat himself but it was too late.. Their other dog (a Belgian shepherd) has attacked my parents cat before and nearly killed it, and they don't walk the dogs on the lead even after that.. They murdered that lovely old cat in front of it's brother, they were two of the most friendly cats I have ever met.. The owner has had those cats since she was eight years old, she is devastated... It was just laying there.. Dead in the street.. The dogs owner wouldn't even clear it up, my mum had to.. And report it to the police.. The dog owner then took the dog to hide it at someone else's house because she knew it should be put down after that.. She didn't even put a note through the owners door or anything

I have a real issue with irresponsible dog owners too. I have a dog of my own but it is kept on a lead where there may be an issue with other animals. It is a reflection on society that people just want to do whatever they want without a care for anything else and society lets them.

I walk a couple of dogs, if they were off the lead they would attack cats too, but I always keep them on a lead.. The worst part is these people have nearly had it happen multiple times before.. There is no excuse and they need to be punished.. Just because they are French doesn't mean they don't have to obey British laws

Well there is enough evidence here to get a conviction if, the CPS thinks it is in 'the public interest', I suspect that principally means will it be an easy conviction. At this point however it will probably involve a small fine.

@GeniUs: If anything...

Why have a dog if you're not going to be responsible for what it does? I honestly don't get some pet owners. She should just face the charges of the police for what her dog did to those poor innocent cats. It's called taking responsibility.

The dog will be destroyed if the police can ever find it.. And she won't live in that street much longer.. Everyone hates her

@AlphaPuppy: So will the police make her put the dog down and move out of the street she lives in?
AlphaPuppy · 26-30, M
They will make her have the dog destroyed, and everyone in the street hates her so much I think she will move on her own
