The excuse that sky high red state murder rates are because of their blue cities is without merit. Even after removing the county with the largest city from red states, and not from blue states, red state murder rates were still 20% higher in 2021 and 16% higher in 2022.
Americans deserve to live without the tyranny of lawlessness and violence ignored by the corrupt elected officials in those cities and those states.
Right it's never your state though and your party, it's always someone else's problem.
The causes for violent crime are complicated by a populace who think being poor is a crime by itself. In truth, there's literally hundreds of ways you can go about solving violent crime but any idea that's not outside of mainstream far right views of "let's just live on a prison planet that will surely teach us," gets tossed aside.
Sending the guard in to stir things up isn’t going to make it safer at all. There's plenty of other things you could do to deter crime, programs that have worked in so many countries but you like taking the easy way out.
The issue is, things are never that easy. If it was that easy to build muscle for instance, you wouldn't have to put hard work in the gym and through diet, meditation and emotional management 💪
It's similar to how the right views solving crime, you go to the gym one day and all of a sudden you are a body builder.
You have mass prisons and mass incarceration and all of a sudden violent crime stops. Nope not going to happen sorry.
