Trump said Americans want a dictator because they value safety over freedom

Trump is a piece of 💩 but on this one I agree. Maga is glad to murder immigrants for the appearance of safety even if it's built on a lie so he is right technically. That's why fear is a good motivator. What people don't seem to realize is that there's tradeoffs between more safety and more freedom. More safety means more authoritarianism as cameras, surveillance, profiling, using the army against civilians all come with the aspect of false sense of safety.

So in essence yes maga and fence sitters both want a dictatorship.

That Trump said this yesterday and he is still in office alive today tells us all two things. First, that the people behind him in the administration are fine with the idea of a dictator (even if its not necessarily him) and dont mind it being spoken about openly in the hands of a mental midget like Trump. And that the American people dont care enough to do anything about it. Why should they? They voted him in twice..And its not like there is any country left really..😷

Nope there sure isn't, Americans are so used to being consumers that we're gonna get a taste of what other countries have to go thru when they didn't have as much freedom. They got what they wanted ☺

@SatanBurger Now this gets a little heavy in economic language. So I have to say "trust me" to the facts. But the narrative is clear enough on what is happening in the US economy now and where it leads. and it does offer a practical solution for those who can afford it. Sadly I doubt that is many in America.. And to be clear, this applies to America only..
