I'll go first. I have a ton one them, so this is just a taste:

Believe it or not, in some places you have to apply for permits to do even the most basic of home maintenance/repair.

@KingFeeder Eh...I understand those rules if you live in a historic center or an area that is a cultural heritage.

@KingFeeder we have to here for anything that isn’t minor. We also have to get a permit to cut down a tree even on my own property , or at least supposedly we do, I’ve cut a few here and there.

@KingFeeder all fun and games until someone does a repair that causes their house to burn down and everything around it. Regulations are in place for a reason, despite some of them being too overbearing

@deadgerbil if you decide to do the repairs yourself, you also accept the responsibility, it use to be that way before they decided only contractors knows anything about fixing anything. So you are forced to pay an arm and a leg just to stop a drip under the sink. 😂
