When assembling furniture yes however it is disconcerting at the end with screws left over wondering where they should of gone!

how true and then you worry weather its sturdy enough and you hope it’s just extra for that just in case you loose one scenarios @nacnud

@Sparklesatnite exactly. The spares end up in a drawer "just in case" they may be useful later! So far furniture assembled hasn't fallen apart so assume they were spares.
