I Appreciate Honesty

Sometimes i think that lying is the best idea and so i try really hard to lie and i am repeating the lie in my head over and over again.. i open my mouth.. and the truth slips out. i end up thinking where in the hell that came from.

To be a good liar you have to have a good memory.

@lasergraph i don't know how i can forget a lie in the time between repeating it in my mind and opening my mouth. Maybe i've been hypnotized.

@ismyEverything Perhaps you find the truth to just be easier.

@ismyEverything I recently posted my feelings about honesty:

THE DEATH

We had an important death recently, but as important as it was, most people paid little attention to it. It was the death of honesty. It took a while and honesty fought hard but too many were allowed at its side. Despair and deceit were both at the beside as honesty finally passed. Honesty had family members there too, both integrity and respect stood by but left as soon as honesty passed and haven't been seen since. Hope had been there early but left before anyone else.

There are many who celebrate the demise of honesty, feeling him too rigid and controlling. I will miss him and feel there are a lot of benefits to having him around. There seems to be a lot of chaos now since he left and I fear a lack of stability.

@lasergraph i truly do. i think it's a really easy way to go about things. i enjoy the truth, but HOW does it override my carefully constructed lie?

@ismyEverything Your are just hard wired for the truth. You probably can't change that.

@lasergraph i love it. It makes me want to rescue honesty.

@lasergraph And not even when i went to court. My husband was lying and i needed to lie, but i couldn't do it. So i guess that you must be right. The liar won.

@ismyEverything The liar often does. Not enough people can see through them or maybe we have all become conditioned to expect a lie.
