On way to work this morning..

It was cold and raining pretty good, I saw a guy walking along the hiway, I slowed and stopped next to him, he opened door and said excited, you giving me a ride??, I say if u get in yes lol, he said he's been walking since 6 am, it was now 9:45 he say where he was going, I say I'm only going this far, I say I can drop u off at store, he say great, it's where I get my coffee, I say you want anything?, he say he was broke, I hand him ten bucks, he just stood there, he didn't know what to say, then said thank you so much but you didn't have to, I say I know, now go get something, he came out with a big smile knocked on the window and waved and I went to work.
