Should one be allowed to adopt someone (over 18) from a poor country.

Right now, the only way to help someone is sending them money or marrying them and going through the whole visa process so that they can work here. Sponsoring a person is just temporary and also is expensive. Trump got Melania and her family over her with an expensive immigration attorney and probably a few other power moves.

@BuzzedLightyear Yeah. Met a kid who's dad died and left her to care for the other two siblings and mom. We're friends. They don't have many options. If one could come over legally and do a minimal wage job they could support the rest of the family easily while living with me. At least they would be legal aliens. Be nice to have someone else around. Don't want to get married again.
