Learning new things and experiences of other people.

@CookieCrumbs Wow. That is the primary reason I am also here. I find people fascinating, from the amazing to the bat sh*t crazy ones.
@Renkon
The people in our lives (fam, friends, co workers, neighbors) contribute to our lives and our personal growth. But we know them and we know a lot do things about them.

If we want to widen our understanding (and maybe acceptance) of the diversity of people’s interest, mindset, behavior, etc….

We have to observe and learn from outside our familiar circle. We read the news. We watch movies. We read books. We interact with strangers, online and offline.

It is just more convenient to do it online than with that person at the grocery store.

Couldn't put it better.

I travel a lot with work . It took me to places with a wide range of cultures. Observing the diversity of life humbles me. I met some incredible folks. Their life helped me in erasing my confined thoughts of the world.Each person's life is a story in itself. A world of its own.

It's wonderful that you feel the same.
@Renkon
I have been privileged to travel extensive, both for work and personal interests. The most memorable moments of those trips are the ones where I said to myself: “Wow. wish I could be more like them… or do what they could…”

It’s both enlightening and humbling experience to learn more about others.
