Would you support universal basic income for women only?

I hear alot of worrying about couples not wanting to start a family because of financial stress.
I figure cutting women (and women only) a check every month would solve that. It'd also give them an option to stay home if they want.

Thoughts?

Why are we encouraging the further over population of earth when there are people who can responsibly recognize they cannot support another dependent thus take measures to ensure there's no procreation?
