Would you support universal basic income for women only?

I hear alot of worrying about couples not wanting to start a family because of financial stress.
I figure cutting women (and women only) a check every month would solve that. It'd also give them an option to stay home if they want.

Thoughts?

This would never work. I have friends where the wife has the best career, her husband would love to stay home and take care of the kids. Why should he be excluded?
How about a gay couple. Why should they be excluded?
