Where will this money come from?
You're potentially cutting your taxpaying workforce in half and then paying out more 'benefits' than ever. In which case taxes would have to rise to cover those costs (most likely income tax) and single working men would essentially be paying for other people to have children.
I'm sure your heart is in the right place but that's absolute lunacy.
It's not even as if the world is especially desperate for lots of extra children to be born. We've got more than enough people as it is.

@Whodunnit Actually we are so far below replacement rate now we are in for a population collapse in a few years. That aside you are absolutely correct about the funny money needed to run the poster's scheme. Inflation would skyrocket and the people would soon be poorer than they are now.

@hippyjoe1955 Well, a little natural population reduction isn't such a such a bad thing in the short term. We are living a lot longer then we used to.

@Whodunnit And when you are older and in need of care who will provide it?

The mess of kids we made from giving women UBI. Doi!

@hippyjoe1955 Well, I don't have kids, so my 'retirement plan' mainly consists of a trip to Switzerland and a visit to Dignitas if things get too sketchy, lol

@Whodunnit ahh my bad.
If you're an Alaskan citizen you get cut a check each year that is paid for by a fee charged to resource extraction businesses. Basically the residents are entitled to this permanent fund that is funded by mineral and logging enterprises for extracting wealth from the land of the state. Last year the payout was around $3200 dollars to each citizen.
