Would you support universal basic income for women only?

I hear alot of worrying about couples not wanting to start a family because of financial stress.
I figure cutting women (and women only) a check every month would solve that. It'd also give them an option to stay home if they want.

Thoughts?

That implies women should be kept out of the workforce. UBI should go to everyone. I would support paid maternity (and paternity) leave to ease the burden of having kids.

What if the mother wants to work and the father wants to stay home with the kids? Does he get a check in that case?

@LeopoldBloom If the mother wants to work she'll get two checks. More income shouldn't have any baring on the fathers decision to be a stay at home husband
