i have a difficult question

should we support another if we are available, but aren't sure we want to stick around for long? Or should we let them find someone else to support them, that could possibly accompany them in life for longer .. ?

"The purpose of my life is to get the knowledge, and then help other with the help of that knowledge."- Swami Vivekananda
: First focus on enabling and keeping up yourself to be able to help others. You should help others to the limit of your capacity and that much you can manage. Do no drain yourself, as this would make yourself incapable to help others further.

“Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach him how to fish and you feed him for a lifetime”
: Try to fix the problem at root level. The could be bit harder, but it would be more effective and have long lasting effects. Like, for a bigger cause you should try to make a group of people instead of trying to fixing it on your own.
