I am asking and accepting a lot of support from him

and he can't go on providing for me like that. He is getting very nervous. I have mainly lived the other side of the story so far in my life. Now that I am on the other side i can understand his frustration but still I am accepting his help. It is really so difficult, when you are in need of help and the other is giving, and you see that they are giving beyond their extent or capacity, stretching their limits, it is so hard to say no and stop it, quit accepting.
But in such circumstances, the excessive help given returns as a boomerang, in the form of resentment...
Maybe you can try to find a balance.... I hope you can...

What would make it possible for you to be less dependent on this person’s help?

@WhateverWorks maybe to invest in more than one person, to strengthen myself more and to take on less demanding projects. An "all of the above" type of solution.

Definitely sounds like a good idea. Could be good for you to talk to them about how you’re aware they are overextending themselves, you guys need to come up with a plan so that they are not depleted and you can still get on your feet @elafina
