I Help Developmentally Disabled People [Helping Others]

Just one. My son. His mental and emotional development are, let's say, limited. Can you imagine what it is like to have a six foot tall hundred and sixty pound toddler?

Know what though? He is worth all the trouble and no less valuable and wonderful a person than anybody else I have ever met.

(edit: he is 18)

You sound very proud of your son, and that’s wonderful. In my opinion, people with disabilities are hugely undervalued in this world, but have the most to teach us about what it means to be human. We should all be valued and be afforded dignity, regardless of ability, looks, race or economic status. I wish all the best to you and your family.
