Let's slide down
the green bumpy back
of a large grinning alligator.
Let's mingle in the deep
wiggle waggle pouch
of a stout grey pelican.
Let's journey the seas
If ever we please
in the voluminous mouth
of a gigantic blue whale.
Let us climb
toe hold by toe hold
up a California redwood
touch the blue blue skies
and fluff some clouds
with our loving fingertips
curl up into the nest
of the thick green branches
my head upon your chest
heart beat beat in my open ears.
Consistent in this understanding
Reaching into the Universe
to cultivate
our wisdom
and awareness
and cherishement.
