I Love a Good Conversation

Is it possible that if we had nothing negative or mockable to say about a person, then there would be nothing to talk about?

I catch myself saying, “Haha that person looks like a ______________”.

Even if it’s not like super negative, it’s still something that I probably wouldn’t like if it was done in reference to me.

So if I couldn’t imitate someone, if I couldn’t say that they look like a ___________, if I said nothing negative about anyone, would there be something to talk about?

Is it that what makes conversations colorful and intriguing the very fact we are talking about a person in their controversial actions, if they are different than yours or what most deem acceptable, about how they “should” do this or that, about how _____________ they are because they act like this but are really that, what brings entertainment to us individuals?

Just imagine....

A: How are you?

B: Great!

A: What do you think about Sally?

B: She’s great! She so awesome at drawing, she’s so talented.

A: Uhhh how’s school?

B: Great! Couldn’t be better!

Haha you see what I mean, kinda funny but... hmmm well, at least to be aware of it going on is progress to me.

Interesting note to take notice upon though 🧐🤔✅

If there was absolutely nothing negative to say, aside from constructive criticism when someone asks for it or is invested with you towards a common goal, what would our conversations look like?

I nearly never say anything negative about another person to get a conversation.
